What is Twerk?
Twerk; It is a kind of dance. Twerk dancing is hip-shaking dance performed by hip-hop music accompanied by broad-hipped black ladies.
This dance action is also called twerking. Starting in the streets of New Orleans, Twerk is known along with Dirty South Bounce music since the late 1990s with the rise of local hip-hop music known as Bounce.
Since the mid-2000s, it has been spread and popularized through social media and videos. The Twerk concept is derived from the words "Twist" and "Jerk" in English.
Twist in Turkish means "twisting, bending, twisting, turning, folding". Jerk is the word in Turkish, "flutter jerk sudden motion sudden motion reflex abrupt motion" as the verb "shake to shake, shake and trembling" means.
